COVID has caused many things in the world. There have sadly been many bad things as repercussions of the virus. It also seems as though there have been significant pauses for many people in the United States; this has caused changes in business churches. At-home church has become the norm for many people, but what is the effect of this going to be moving forward? How is the church going to change, even when things "go back to normal?" Also, what are the things this is exposing about what the western church is lacking?

They compare and contrast it with western thought, contrasting facts with truths and each culture's concern with both.

What's Our Vocation? (BP episode 4) (ft. a discussion about John Crist and Kanye West)

In this episode of the podcast, Luke and Dimitry start with current events in the Christian world, discussing Kanye's conversion and John Crist's recent fall from grace. From there, they turn to the topic of vocation, how it differs from work, and how we can better intertwine the two.

In this episode, Dimitry and Luke leap back in history to the days of Martin Luther and the Catholic Church. They discuss the conditions that lead to Luther's 95 theses and the ripple effects, good and bad, that have been made in Christendom since the infamous papers were hammed into the church doors.  

Are We Programmed? (BP episode 2)

In the second episode, Luke and Dimitry discuss the idea of church becoming a program in replacement of trusting Holy Spirit to work. The conversation hits on topics of money, power, and an unwillingness to change. Dimitry talks about how calling something a blessing doesn't mean you're not appealing to the idea of karma. Luke gets fired up about church programs producing robots and not disciples.

In this introductory episode, Dimitry and Luke explore the question, "Are people happier in deconstruction?" Inspired by an episode of "The Bad Christian Podcast" with Chad Gardner of Kings K (episode 444), where Chad pushed back on the idea of throwing the baby out with the bathwater when it comes to church and tradition. Chad Argues that happiness can be found in a simpler faith where there is a union of tradition and vision.
